Beautiful Olinda!

Do not miss enjoying a walk around Olinda, but beware, you must go there prepared and determined to take on the steep side streets which could put off all but the most resolute visitor. Please persist, so that you can appreciate one of Brazil’s most beautiful, historic Cities. With a little stamina, you will arrive at the city’s main tourist points; the Se hill, on which the Catedral Nossa Senhora de Salvador do Mundo stands. Standing there, you will feel deep down that it was worth the effort.

Every February, tourists pour into the narrow streets of Olinda to join in what is probably one of the most authentic Carnivals in Brazil.
